About me

  • Mein Name ist Torben Brodt,
    ich habe easy-coding im Jahre 2003 gegründet und mit dem Forum programmieren gelernt.
    Seit Abschluss meines Medieninformatiks im Jahr 2008 arbeite ich hauptberuflich bei der plista GmbH als Softwareentwickler.
    Schwerpunkt meiner Arbeit sind Algorithmen aus dem Bereich Machine Learning - im speziellen "Collaborative Filtering".
    Weiter beschäftige ich mich mit MySQL, Memcached und PHP +APC um die Skalierbarkeit der Webanwendung zu gewährleisten.
    Andere Interessen sind Geobasierte Anwendungen, Social Media, Kollaborative Tools und Suchmaschinentechnologien via Lucene, Nutch und Solr.
