  • Python IDE / SPE will nicht

    SPE liefert auf meiner Ubuntu-7.04 installation nur folgenden Fehler:

    Quellcode

    1. darthdespotism@akazieLX:~$ spe
    2. You need to install at least wxPython v2.5.4.1 to run SPE.
    3. Get it from http://www.wxpython.org


    Daher habe ich momentan 2 Möglichkeiten:
    a) Ich finde heraus wie ich spe zum laufen bekomme
    b) Ich finde eine andere gute IDE

    Zu beiden Möglichkeiten wäre ich für Tipps dankbar

  • hab auch ein ganz normales Ubuntu mit Python 2.5
    Kanns problemlos installieren und starten..

    es sollte zwar nicht ohne Abhängigkeiten installierbar sein, aber das waren meine:

    Vermutlich willst du ne IDE fürs BlenderScripting. Dazu scheint SPE geeignet zu sein,
    Für Skriptsprachen aller Art bevorzuge ich jedoch kleine IDEs. Für Python ist das IDLE.

  • Blender Scripting ist vielleicht das Argument gegen Pearl und für Python (kann blender auch Pearl?), aber ich wollte eigentlich hauptsächlich eine (weitere) Scriptsprache lernen. (boost::python ist ein anderer Grund)

    SPE will immer noch nicht und das interaktive liegt mir irgendwo nicht so recht. Hast du eine Idee wo ich da noch schrauben könnte?

  • Hm geht auch so nicht.

    Ich könnte mir höchstens vorstellen dass die extra eingebundene wxWidget-Paketquelle Probleme macht (ich brauche 2.8.4 für Codeblocks)

    Fürs erste funktioniert das mit gedit auch, aber ich werde da weiter suchen.
